This is a short scheme (6-8 lessons) that is designed to support students through the new AQA GCSE Paper 1 Section A (Reading). It focuses on 3 key assessment objectives (AO1,2&4), practising the skills of quotation selection, language and structure analysis and, evaluating a text. That just seems too high for 6/7/8. Please do bear in mind that before, the grade boundaries for a C, B and an A were quite close together. Therefore, I disagree with how you have equally spaced everything out by 8 marks.
